ok so today at fanime
like right outside of the convention these mega christians came and started protesting against gays and how they’re trying to be something they’re not and how we’re all sinning because we’re all dressing up as things we’re not and whatever
and then gamzee got on this tiny truck and slowly rode in front of the protesters and it was glorious and was probably the best thing that happened all day
i love everyone in this fandom
i really do

Finally, a makeup advertisement addressing the fact that makeup is an ARTFORM, and isn’t only used to “hide your flaws”.
Did Maybelline install surveillance equipment in my house? All of these things are so perfect. And I like how the colors used in this aren’t muted, desaturated tones, but bright, “unnatural” colors. Because I don’t wear makeup to hide any sort of flaws. I wear bright colors, lay it on thick, because it’s fun and expressive.
These aren’t Maybelline ads, they were made as an awesome student project and are like 700 times better than any real ads.
Oh, that’s good to know!
It’s not surprising how awesome stuff like this comes from students, people who haven’t yet been beaten down by an industry that tells you “This is the way things are, here is your box, stand inside it, and hand out instructions for getting everyone else into their boxes.”
Damnit, I wish this was real. 8/
