This should be played at my funeral.

I get really intense about this song when I’m bored
ME.
Everybody was like, “aw, yiss, the sequel is Romeo and Juliet” when I was like, “aw, yiss, the sequel is about interracial marriage.” :v

play some rap in the background, you’ll laugh just a bit harder.
Hustlin’ by Rick Ross is a good choice. It gets my endorsement at least.
Try “U Shoulda Made A Phone Call” by Crooked I. You’ll thank me later.
“Little Boxes”
(originally by Malvina Reynolds)
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky,
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes, all the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
They’re all made out of ticky-tacky,
And they all look just the same.
And the people in houses
who went to the university,
where they were put in boxes,
And they all came out the same.
There’s doctors and lawyers
And business executives,
They’re all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.
And they all play on the golf-course,
And drink their Martini dry,
And they all have pretty children,
And the children go to school.
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university,
They all get put in boxes
And they all come out the same.
And the boys go into business,
And marry, raise a family,
And they all get put in boxes,
Little boxes, all the same.
Yeah a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they’re all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.
ren-yangze replied to your post: Downloaded a big batch of classical music because the music I normally listen to keeps distracting me with its lyrics. So far almost every song that stands out to me as awesome is by Bach.
I should try that because my music distracts me so much.
My mom used to always ask me how I could read/do my homework with metal blasting. When I told her I couldn’t concentrate /without/ it, she said the opposite would be true as I got older. I thought she was full of it.
(My bad.)
But for real, music with a theme that matches the theme of what I’m working on tends to help me a lot, at least when what I’m working on is art-related.
